Technical Specification

An overview of the technical specification and user flows for demSOL.

$dmSOL is an SPL token on Solana mainnet and only for use within the Solana ecosystem.

Minting process in detail:

  • The user engages with Jito's own front end to deposit $SOL or $jitoSOL to mint dmSOL.

    • SOL may be swapped for JitoSOL or minted using's Jito's staking platform ahead of depositing;

    • JitoSOL is restaked in Demether's LRT vault and then used to provide economic security into Node Consensus Networks (NCNs) automatically via our node operator partners to generate rewards;

    • $dmSOL tokens are minted and deposited into the user's wallet on Solana mainnet only.
