Utility
dmSOL is a Solana-based liquid staking token, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enable the staking of SOL into ecosystems demanding access to economic security.
The token's primary differentiation is enhanced yield above and beyond other 'vanilla' liquid staking tokens in two ways:
Minting of demSOL: The key utility of dmSOL is to mint demSOL using the token, enabling free movement across many chains by wrapping the LRT into LayerZero's omnichain token standard.
Modular yield enhancements: We plan to upgrade dmSOL progressively to enhance its yield generation.
Ecosystem effect
Users can expect Demether to deliver greater token utility for dmSOL through a growing number of integrations into DeFi protocols and wallets. The Demether Foundation will pass through any economic incentives offered by partners to further enhance returns for users. Additionally, improved liquidity across ecosystems will be a key benefit.
Yield enhancement
Jito's (Re)staking technology allows users to benefit from higher MEV-boosted and restaking yield from depositing jitoSOL into Node Consensus Networks (NCNs). Users are effectively rewarded for supplying economic security into an network.
